Nutmeg’s Ojai ADU

With a footprint of 12′ wide x 26′ long, the design of this ADU is a larger version of the Tiny House Prefab. The roof is a shed roof instead of a gable roof. The structure sits behind the retail store “Nutmeg’s Ojai House“, tucked under the canopy of the majestic oak tree. We took great care to ensure the health of the tree is not harmed with the foundation. The new ADU will serve multiple functions for Meg’s retail store – as an auxillary space for readings and bodywork – as well as full-time dwelling for residents.
